i think all of us who are against violence and persecution must run for the hills or build a canoe... nothing else will work... (other nations won't rescue us cos we're not sitting on any oil...) the materialists under the skin of governments and military might will always have the upper hand - and will never tolerate a peace-loving society... because peace-loving means simple life - which means no need of material things - which means no profits to feed the military goverment corporate sponsored machines of persecution (see falun gung)... if the down trodden get out of the way long enough - and in large enough numbers - eventually the material wealth of the oppressors will dwindle with nobody left to prop them up with consumer spending... it means abject hardship for many generations to come - in cold mountains - or vast oceans - and refugee camps on the fringes everywhere in the world... ! ed
